Our team

Clark Westcott, CPA, CA - President

Clark graduated from York University in 1989 with a Specialized Honours Accounting and Economics Bachelor of Arts degree. He began his career in Public Accounting in 1989 in Toronto and was certified as a CPA, CA in 1992. Clark moved to Bracebridge in 1991, where he would launch his accounting practice as a sole practitioner in 1993. Since then, his practice has focused on serving owner-managed businesses. He continually strives to improve his accounting and tax skills through continuing professional development. In 2015, he completed the CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course.

When Clark is not at the office, you may find him training, cycling, running or swimming. He has completed two Ironman triathlons and several marathons. Clark also holds a commercial pilot license and enjoys recreational aerobatics.

David Daleman, CPA - Vice President

Born and raised in Bracebridge, David is proud to serve his hometown with professional accounting services. In 2011, David graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has been working in public accounting ever since. In 2018, he passed the Common Final Exam (CFE) and obtained his CPA designation. David is active in his community as the treasurer and founding member for MORCA. He is also a certified ProAdvisor for QuickBooks Desktop and Online.

David is proud of his Bracebridge community and what it has to offer, and enjoys many outdoor activities, including boating, fishing, camping, hiking, biking and golfing

Owen Bache, CPA, CA - Vice President

Owen grew up in Bracebridge and now lives and works here with his family. His main area of practice involves accounting, tax compliance and planning for owner-managed businesses including corporate, personal and trusts. He has specialization in corporate reorganizations including planning on how to best structure the ownership of a business to meet owner needs, minimize income tax and provide flexibility for a future transition of the business.

He graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the DeGroote School of Business in 2012.  He passed the Uniform Final Evaluation (UFE) in 2013 and became a Chartered Accountant in 2016.  To further his tax knowledge he completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course in 2017. After working for a national accounting firm until 2021, he left his role as a Senior Tax Manager to join the team here. 

Jaymie Follas, Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Jaymie completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees at Nipissing University. Upon completion, she spent some time overseas teaching in both England and New Zealand.

After being a stay-at-home parent for most of her three children’s early years, she decided to make a career change and graduated from Georgian College in 2016 with a Bookkeeping with Honours Ontario College Certificate. 

Jaymie has a passion for keeping things organized and creating systems that work and flow easily, making bookkeeping a perfect career fit.  

Susan Gray - Staff Accountant

Susan was born and raised in Muskoka and is proud to provide bookkeeping and professional accounting services to her community.  Susan has both a community college diploma from Canadore College and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Nipissing University.  Susan has been working in public accounting for over 14 years and looks forward to continue to do so.

Susan enjoys reading, and spending time with her grandchildren at the beach or park.

Tania Cowley - Accounting Technician

Originally from Huron County, Ontario, Tania moved to Muskoka in 2007 after living in Alberta. After becoming a parent, and having worked in the Hospitality & Event Management world, Tania decided to make a career change and graduated from Durham College in 2021 with a Specialty Accounting with Honours Ontario College Certificate.

On weekends and after hours, Tania enjoys gardening, spending time with family, doing puzzles, reading, and volunteering.

Sheryl Plaunt - Reception

Sheryl is an Administrative Assistant with a background in Office Administration. She earned a diploma in both Office Administration and Law Clerk from Georgian College and is currently working towards a diploma in Bookkeeping.

Outside of work Sheryl enjoys spending time with family and friends.
